If you’re a certified scuba diver or enrolled in a scuba training program and you haven’t been in the water for a while, you could benefit from a Scuba Review.
As you probably already know, scuba diving is a fantastic sport that only a select few adventurers on this planet participate in.
As it’s not always possible to scuba dive on a regular basis, it’s important to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible before re-entering the water after a long time.
The Scuba Review is broken into 2 sessions: a Knowledge Review and a Skills Review in confined water.
The Knowledge Review aims to remind you of the safety procedures you would have been taught in your entry level qualification.
This component of the course is taught using the Scuba Tune Up multimedia content or the guide book.
Back into the magical underwater world, where you as an enthusiastic scuba diver belong!
A Scuba Review with PADI only takes 1 day – you’ll be back to your confident diving self in no time! During the Scuba Review, divers will practice in a confined water setting and do 2 open water dives.
Re-familiarizing yourself with the key safety considerations and continuing to practice your diving skills can only benefit your experience, especially if you haven’t been diving for a while.
It’s exciting to get back into the water, and we’ve found that those who haven’t been diving regularly are able to get more excited after a Scuba Review.
Fine-tune your existing dive skills under the careful watch of a PADI professional in a confined water situation.
You can practice the basics in a comfortable setting before taking to the open water for 2 dives in easy conditions to ease yourself back into the wonderful world of scuba.
